We created a ‘typographic journey’ through Gensler’s multiple disciplines. This begins
in the lift lobby and flows into the reception, and then down the meeting room walk ways.
Large scale letters make up our disciplines. Due to their size they wrap around the office
walls building interest and intrigue as people follow the letters to discover what they spell.
The type is derived from the same font, however each word has been illustrated and
manifested individually to reflect the discipline it represents; architecture, interior, design,
planning and consulting.
Dotted around the larger wall graphics are small quotes from designers, some at eye
level and others not. This is to challenge people’s expectations and provoke an element
of surprise in seeing a quote which they might not have noticed before.
